It’s been a very funny kind of month and as such I have had little time to dedicate to The Organ Manual. I’m afraid, like many I have been cramming work in before schools close and then getting used to studying online. I do hope all readers and safe and well and at least able to enjoy some extra music time now we are in lockdown.
I have much planned and now the Easter holidays are here I will be making some amendments and additions and these will be highlighted in the April review.
I do hope you’ve had time to read the article by Gerard Brooks on his role as President of the RCO and also the piece by Toby Wright on his first organ recital. Next month we have articles written by two organ enthusiasts who attended the Pipe Up session at Wimborne in February and by Alex Trigg, Organ Scholar Elect for St George’s Chapel, Windsor on applying for an organ scholarship.
Best wishes and stay safe
